DHG Acquires Data Analytics Firm, JC Griffin

1/9/19

Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP (DHG), a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, announced the expansion of its data analytics capabilities with the acquisition of the business of JC Griffin LLC, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Effective January 2, 2019, JCG joined DHG in its healthcare industry practice bringing advanced data extraction, normalization and visualization capabilities for healthcare enterprise operational improvement and performance management.

The JCG assets provide critical new enabling technology for DHG Healthcare’s Achieve™ solution set, which is focused on physician enterprise performance optimization. JCG brings a unique capability to harvest data from multiple sources and display actionable information that can enable stronger enterprise performance. DHG anticipates that these enhanced data analytics capabilities will allow for portability to other areas of the firm in the future.

“The addition of JCG’s data analytics capabilities enhances our portfolio firm-wide, and we plan to strategically grow this practice area in the future,” said Matt Snow, DHG’s CEO. “We welcome JCG to our DHG team and our Forth Worth office, and we are excited to continue to provide our clients with innovative service offerings and solutions.”

“DHG provides the right platform to drive growth and more urgently advance the legacy JCG assets. I look forward to seeing how our capabilities will enhance DHG’s Enterprise Intelligence portfolio and bring more valuable tools to the marketplace,” said Dan Martinsen, former JCG CEO.
