Creative Allies Announces Three New Contests for Artists and Graphic Designers

11/15/16

Creative Allies is thrilled to announce three design contests for graphic designers and artists. The company helps recognize and reward independent artists globally by providing access to creative briefs from leading musical acts, corporate brands and entertainment properties through opportunities for creatives and fans to create for, vote on and participate in campaigns and contests.

New contests include:

  • Motionless in White:Get your artwork featured on the album cover of Graveyard Shift, set to be released in 2017! Designers submit their work in the blind contest, unable to see other submissions, and the band will personally review the entries. In addition to a cash prize of $2,000, the winner gets a round-trip ticket to attend a private listening with the band!
  • Bad Santa: Naughty or nice? Bad Santa 2 premieres Nov. 23. Designers have the exclusive opportunity to create original artwork inspired by the first Bad Santa film for use on official merchandise. Mischief, a twisted holiday spirit, a criminal mindset, foul language and a comical cynicism towards joy will help designers win big with $2500 in prizes available!
  • Ugly Christmas Sweater: The tackier, the better! Artists and graphic designers are being called to submit Ugly Christmas Sweater designs to be featured and sold online this holiday season. With 24 prizes, this campaign is awarding over $3600 for the best of the worst designs. The feature prizes will be curated by none other than singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan! In partnership with RageOn!, Creative Allies will build online Ugly Christmas Sweater stores and participating designers can earn an unprecedented 50 percent on profits for merchandise sold.

Additionally, two upcoming campaigns correspond with hit TV shows include Gilmore Girls and Game of Thrones.

Most of the contests offer cash prizes of up to $1,000 as well as abundant perks and impressive portfolio pieces. Those interested in participating, can visit creativeallies.com/contests to review full creative briefs and design and submit artwork. Then, fans will vote on their favorite designs and a winner will be announced at the end of the contest voting period.
