New lamps for the home and office mark company’s first move into lighting

OFM, one of the nation’s leading furniture manufacturers and distributors, will unveil its new LED lamps for the home and office and showcase two modern furniture offerings, including its new Fulcrum Laminate Series, at the annual NeoCon industry trade show next week in Chicago, a premier commercial design event now in its 50th year.

“Furniture as we know it is forever changing,” said Blake Zalcberg, president of OFM, which is a family-run business. “We already offer chairs and sofas with built-in outlets and phone chargers, so it was a natural next step for us to move into lighting. Our new LED lamps will help us meet all of our customers’ needs whether that’s at home, work or school.

In addition to debuting a new line of LED lamps for the home and office, OFM will also showcase its Fulcrum Laminate Series, a new customizable office furniture line for workplaces needing maximum flexibility. This versatile collection includes desks, credenzas, hutches and storage units, which can be combined in a number of ways to fit any office layout, while having a consistent thread that ties all of the design elements together.

OFM’s NeoCon lineup also includes the Edge Series Tables and Stools, a new furniture line boasting an industrial design that makes a statement in any space. This new series boasts an angular style with sculpted legs in either an elm wood or walnut stain finish.
