Bandwidth Signs Seven-year Lease on NC State Campus for $1.2M

Bandwidth Inc., a communications technology services company, has entered into a seven-year office building lease on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The lease will cost $1.2 million annually. The base rent will increase by 3 percent in each subsequent year.

Bandwidth originally moved into Centennial Campus in 2012, taking over space formerly occupied by Red Hat.

Bandwidth develops products with intelligent voice backed by its all-IP voice network.

The company, which went public last year, currently has 865 customers, including Microsoft and Google.
