A BB&T Corp. executive sold $500,000 worth of company stock this week, according to a filing Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Donna Goodrich, senior executive vice president, sold 10,799 shares of BB&T stock at $46.77 a share. Goodrich now owns 50,869 shares of stock worth more than $2.4 million.
BB&T is a financial services holding company offering consumer and commercial banking, securities brokerage, asset management, mortgage and insurance products and services. It operates over 2,100 branches in 15 states and Washington, D.C.
It is one of the largest banks in the U.S. and its subsidiary BB&T Insurance Services is one of the largest insurance brokers in the world.
Goodrich has served as senior executive vice president and deposit, payment and operations services manager since 2016. From 2004 to 2015, she served as deposit services manager at BB&T.
She joined BB&T in 1985 and has been responsible for management and development of retail and commercial deposit products and deposit compliance and operations. She received her B.S. from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce.
BB&T stock is at $49.52 in Friday morning trading, up 0.4 percent since market close Thursday.
