Business and Beers, a business-to-business networking group for people who enjoy a casual environment to meet like-minded business professionals in the Triangle area, has exceeded 2,000 members since it was founded in 2013.

The networking group is hosted on MeetUp, an online platform that brings people together in thousands of cities to do more of what they want to do in life. To reach new members and explore Triangle sites, Business and Beers organizers select different venues, such as restaurants or bars to host its events each month. With no cost to attend, networkers purchase their own beers and are provided with complimentary appetizers and a chance to win giveaways from sponsors.

“When we started Business and Beers a little more than four years ago, there were less than two dozen members for our first event,” said founder Louis Vitiello, Jr., “Today we’ve reached a monumental 2,000 Meetup followers and host events with more than 100 people in attendance. The participation and community support for Business and Beers amazes me every day. I am very proud of what we’ve accomplished and thank our members and sponsors for enabling our success.”
