Last week's acquisitions bring ECHO's ownership to 6 grocery-anchored centers in the Charlotte area totaling nearly 500,000 square feet. Cannon Crossroads is a 67,000-square foot center located at the intersection of Harris Road and Poplar Tent Road, in Concord, North Carolina. The center is anchored by a 49,000-square foot Harris Teeter and is home to a dozen necessity-based businesses and restaurants, including Great Clips, State Farm, and Johnny Brusco's. Cannon Crossroads was built in 2007 and is 96% occupied.
Matthews Township Shopping Center is a 128,650-square foot center located at the intersection of Independence Blvd (US-74) and Matthews Township Parkway, in Matthews, North Carolina. The center is anchored by a 58,500-square foot Harris Teeter and a 36,000-square foot Stein Mart. Additional businesses include Rack Room Shoes, Hallmark, and Chipotle. Matthews Township was built in 1995 and is fully occupied.
