Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, a national provider of clinical home care for medically fragile children, has acquired Health & Home Services, one of North Carolina’s leading home health care companies.
Located in Hickory, North Carolina, Health & Home Services provides private duty nursing and other home care services, primarily to medically complex children.
“The acquisition of Health & Home Services significantly expands our presence in North Carolina,” said Greg Serrao, chairman, president, and CEO of Thrive. “Health & Home Services is a patient-centered company with a long-standing reputation for providing high quality clinical home care that aligns with our mission. We are excited to have the Health & Home Services employees join our team.”
Thrive provides care to children who most need it, in the place that is best for them and their families – their homes, with the goal of being the provider of choice for parents, doctors, and referral sources, as well as the employer of choice for in-home clinical care providers.
“We are very honored to welcome the patients and families of Health & Home Services to the Thrive family,” said Serrao. “We are confident that our infrastructure and topnotch leadership team will provide a smooth transition for these children, allowing them to continue to grow and flourish to their full potential.”
With this acquisition, Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care serves medically fragile children in five locations in North Carolina – Hickory, Gastonia, Raleigh, Kernersville, and Winston-Salem. The company, which has a national resource center in Wakefield, Massachusetts, provides care in 11 additional locations in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, and Texas.
