OAK RIDGE, N.C., June 22, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oak Ridge Financial Services, holding company for Bank of Oak Ridge, (OTCPink:BKOR), announced that L. William “Bill” Vasaly, III is the newest member of the Board of Directors for the bank and the holding company. Vasaly has served as the bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer since its inception in 2000.
“Bill has been a key member of our management team since the bank’s inception in 2000,” said Doug Boike, Board of Directors Chairman. “He will bring his business development and credit leadership skills to our board. Vasaly received his bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Virginia Tech University. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Triad Chapter of the Risk Management Association and recently served as its President. In addition, he is a former Chairman of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Northwest North Carolina and a former President of the Twin City Kiwanis Club in Winston-Salem, NC.
