Chanticleer Holdings CEO Michael D. Pruitt Sees Compensation Rise 4.8 Percent

Chanticleer Holdings Inc.’s chief executive officer saw a 4.8 percent increase in his compensation in the company’s fiscal year, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Michael D. Pruitt’s compensation for the fiscal year totaled $286,597, up from $273,300 in the company’s 2015 fiscal year.

While he did not receive a bonus this fiscal year, Pruitt saw his base salary increase to $286,597 this fiscal year from $263,300 in the company’s 2015 fiscal year.

Chanticleer Holdings owns, operates and franchises restaurant brands, including American Burger Company, BGR – Burgers Grilled Right, Just Fresh and Hooters.

The company reported total revenue of $41.7 million for the company’s 2016 fiscal year, up from $35.3 million in the company’s 2015 fiscal year.

Chanticleer Holding’s annual meeting will be held on Monday, May 15 at 10 a.m. at the company’s corporate office, 7621 Little Avenue, Suite 414, in Charlotte.

The company’s shares closed at 35 cents on Monday, down 2 cents or 5.4 percent.
