Lockton has announced plans to open a new Greenville, SC, office, initially focused on advising clients on employee benefit programs. Veteran benefits advisors Marti Smith and Erin Sottile will join Lockton on April 15. They will be part of Lockton's newly formed South Carolina Employee Benefits Practice.

Marti Smith will join Lockton as a Producer, responsible for new business development and advising clients on employee benefits strategies. Erin Sottile joins as an Account Executive in employee benefits, providing strategic advice and program implementation to clients on their health and welfare programs.

"Marti and Erin are both respected employee benefits professionals with diverse skills who help clients solve business challenges," said Doug Hutcherson, President of Lockton's Southeast operation. "They will be a great addition to our new office starting April 15 as we expand our operations into the Greenville region."

Smith has more than 20 years of experience in employee benefits, human resources and the financial services industry, most recently at Willis Towers Watson. She works with large companies and organizations, and has extensive experience in manufacturing, professional services, municipalities, non-profits, as well as, Taft-Hartley and collectively bargained programs.

Sottile is an experienced employee benefits account executive, working with an array of clients on long-term benefits planning as well as day-to-day operational issues for human resources clients.

Lockton's new South Carolina Employee Benefits Practice will collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and develop benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. The team will coordinate Lockton's array of resources in wellness, analytics, compliance, and actuarial services to deliver effective and efficient benefits plans.
