A mobile hiring application company raised $230,000 from three investors, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

EmployUs Inc. filed the Form D on Feb. 27. The offering is not intended to last more than one year, and is not being made in connection with a business combination transaction. The date of the first sale was Nov. 27.

According to previously filed Form Ds, the EmployUs raised $50,000 and $499,000 in in October and August 2016, respectively. It was founded in 2014.

The company provides a mobile-first hiring application that gives users cash rewards for connecting companies with successful job applications. Its application allows users to view and refer candidates for jobs and earn when their referrals are hired.

Ryan O’Donnell, chief executive officer and co-founder of EmployUs, graduated from N.C. State University in 2015 with a degree in entrepreneurship and is a high school graduate of the N.C. School of Science and Mathematics.

Co-founder and chairman Jeff Stocks previously owned and led the Manpower staffing office in Raleigh.

Companies relying on a Reg D exemption do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but they must first file what’s known as a Form D electronically with the SEC after they first sell their securities.

The Form D can be found here.
