An exceptional evening of curated bourbons and whiskeys is coming this spring while supporting the local cancer community. The inaugural Bourbon for Booty will take place on Saturday, May 6 at 7PM at Hart Witzen Gallery, 136 E. 36th Street, in Charlotte.
Created and hosted by 24 Foundation Founder, Spencer Lueders, Bourbon for Booty supports and celebrates the contemporary, new branding and refocused purpose of the 24 Foundation – a Charlotte nonprofit with a mission to inspire and engage communities to make an immediate impact on the lives of people affected by cancer. 24 Foundation is hosting its signature fundraiser – the 16th Annual 24 Hours of Booty charity non-competitive cycling and walking event – on July 28-29, 2017 in Charlotte.
“Whether you are new to bourbons and whiskeys or an experienced collector, Bourbon for Booty is an exclusive, must-do event benefiting our local cancer community,” said Lueders. “We look forward to bringing folks together for a fun evening with fine spirits and great food, while supporting an important cause.”
As part of the tasting, guests will also enjoy light food pairings and palate cleansers prepared by renowned local chef, Craig Barbour. Beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water will also be available. Each guest will receive a custom tasting glass, notebook and education about each spirit before individual pours and sampling guidance. Bourbon for Booty will also feature a silent auction and studio tours from artists in residence at Hart Witzen gallery.
