The partners of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP have elected Julia B. Hartley and Lawrence L. Ostema of the Charlotte office to the partnership. Both are formerly of counsel.

Ms. Hartley joined the Firm in 2010 and practices with the Consumer Finance and Litigation Team. She focuses her practice in the areas of business litigation, financial services litigation, employment and labor, and eDiscovery and litigation readiness.

Mr. Ostema joined the Firm in 2015 and co-chairs the Energy Industry Group. He has served as counsel in a range of domestic and international project and corporate financings and mergers and acquisitions in the energy, telecom, high-technology, and manufacturing industries. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
