First Tennessee Bank Appoints Tim Hunter as Financial Center Manager

First Tennessee Bank has hired Timothy Hunter as financial center manager for the bank’s branch located at 4801 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. In this position, he will manage the consumer and small business banking activities in the central Raleigh market.

Hunter has more than 15 years of experience in banking and finance, including having served as regional manager/senior vice president, regional sales and service manager/vice president, and branch manager/vice president with various financial institutions. He has worked in the areas of commercial banking, business banking, wealth management and investments.

Active in the local community, Hunter has been involved with such organizations as Junior Achievement, ARC, the N.C. State Student Aid Association, the Jimmy V Foundation, and Business Networking International.

Hunter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business management from N.C. State University, and his MBA from the University of Maryland. Additionally, he is a graduate of the American Banking Association Business of Banking School and is certified as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist.
