Amorino celebrates grand opening week with donation to local charity InterAct

Amorino, a dessertery straight from Italy, is set to open to the public Tuesday, Nov. 22, in downtown Raleigh. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of unique products from the signature gelato rose cone to hot drinks, crepes, macaroons and more. In addition to trying out the delicious treats, a percentage of each purchase made during opening week will be donated to local charity InterAct, an organization that provides safety, support and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Along with its commitment to giving back, Amorino is best known for its beautiful display of Italian craftsmanship in every cone. The team expertly creates a delicate and edible gelato flower based on the guests selection of a single flavor or a mixture of several flavors. There are 24 gelato flavors and eight macaroons, including chocolate, caramel, banana, orange, strawberry, mango and more. For those with allergies or diet restrictions, Amorino offers great alternatives including sorbets and egg-, gluten- or nut-free gelato options.

Especially delicious during the cold winter months, Amorino offers a variety of tasty hot drinks to choose from including hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccino, tea and espresso. For the adventurous at heart, try a Affogato Al Caffe, an Italian specialty combining the strong taste and heat of an espresso coffee with the cool refreshing creaminess of vanilla gelato.
