Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Charlotte Office Managing Partner Dana C. Lumsden has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lumsden’s three-year term will commence in December.

Board members are the elected representatives of the Charlotte Chamber's general membership and have ultimate responsibility for the organization’s operations. The Board reviews and evaluates the approval of various policies, proposed actions, programs and projects that serve the best interest of the community and the Chamber.

In addition to leading Bradley’s Charlotte office, Mr. Lumsden practices as a partner on the firm’s litigation and financial services teams. He focuses on business litigation, including intellectual property disputes, securities litigation, investigations and enforcement proceedings, and the resolution of regulatory controversies concerning the consumer financial services industry. His recent matters include the successful defense of the board of directors of a privately held manufacturing company in multimillion-dollar dispute with a foreign entity and the successful prosecution of trademark infringement claims for a North Carolina-based hosiery distribution company. He has been recognized as a top lawyer in the field of commercial litigation by Benchmark Litigation and Business North Carolinamagazine.

Mr. Lumsden is an involved member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and is Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Charlotte Ballet.
