24 Hours of Booty is continuing to expand its team with two new staff and a new board member. Nanci Bonfield and Lisa Dale join the fundraising and recruitment team. In addition, Rasmus Pedersen has been appointed to the organization’s board of directors.

Previously, Bonfield was senior coordinator field development for Autism Speaks. She also served as a substitute teacher, a para professional and recreational therapist. A graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, Bonfield earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.

Dale brings more than three decades of sales and promotional experience to her role. She was a corporate promotional consultant for maxMpact with HALO Branded Solutions, and a client relations manager and an IT selection and implementation specialist for Jordan Graphics. Dale received an Associates of Science Degree in Business Management and graduated from the Gardner Webb Advanced Degree program facilitated through Gaston College.

Pedersen is a Senior Vice President, Sourcing Manager at Bank of America, where he is responsible for procurement and contract negotiations supporting the third party labor channels across the enterprise. Involved with 24 Hours of Booty since 2008 as a participant and volunteer, Pedersen was diagnosed with Melanoma stage 0 in 2004; the early detection allowed for quick treatment and he has been without relapse. He is an active cyclist and athlete who has completed 22 marathons and two ironman triathlons.

“We are excited to grow our team and our board,” said Mallory Walsh, executive director of 24 Hours of Booty. “Their respective talents and expertise will help us further our mission of actively supporting cancer patient navigation and survivorship programs.”
