Event Marketing Services, Inc. has hired Brittney Wilson as operations director. In her role, she will oversee all logistics and course management for the company’s running races, including the Novant Health Charlotte Marathon.

Wilson recently graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a bachelor of science in sport management. Her experience includes promotions, marketing and event management internships with Strike City, LTC Compliance Consulting, 24 Hours of Booty and the 2013 Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship.

“Brittney [Wilson] brings great experience to her role in running operations for our events and will be a great addition to our team,” said Tim Rhodes, owner of Event Marketing Services and Run For Your Life, and race director of the Novant Health Charlotte Marathon. “We are committed to providing quality event experiences for all our race participants so having a strong team in place is important to us.”
