Bell Leadership Institute Announces Bill Sanford as Speaker at ATD & Midwest Chapters 2016 Regional Conference

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bill Sanford, MS, a leadership trainer and speaker at Bell Leadership Institute, will present at the ATD & Midwest Chapters 2016 Regional Conference in Chicago. Sanford will address the audience on Peak Performance: Achieving Great Results in a Complex Life. Sanford was selected from over 225 submissions and is among 12 who will speak at the conference, including keynote speakers Chris Yates, CLO and Director of People and Organizational Development for Caterpillar; and Rob Lauber, CLO of McDonald’s Hamburger University.

Registration is now open for the conference, which will be hosted at theHyatt Lodge at McDonald’s Campus in Oak Brook on November 13-14, 2016. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with approximately 200 talent development professionals, from ATD leaders and members to local industry professionals from all 19 ATD Midwest chapters. They will hear from industry experts and thought leaders and participate in several education sessions to learn about emerging trends and best practices in the field.

Bill Sanford, a recognized speaker, impactful trainer, and insightful coach, helps leaders build themselves, their people, and their organizations to achieve meaningful, lasting results. Whether speaking to a large audience, training a group of managers, or working with senior executives, Bill engages people, gets them focused on what is most important, and delivers productive, practical steps they can put to use immediately.

Bill earned master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and from George Mason University’s Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which he attended on a Morehead Scholarship.

Over the course of his career, Bill has designed and facilitated seminars on numerous leadership topics including teambuilding, conflict management, communication, selection, peak performance, personality, and change. He has worked with clients in a range of industries – from construction, manufacturing, and distribution to healthcare, high-tech, and banking – in addition to working in government, higher education, and the non-profit sector. He has also done extensive work with several clients in sports, ranging from college sports teams and athletic departments to the National Basketball Association (NBA). “The ATD & Midwest Regional Conference should be a wonderful event.
