High-Intensity Interval Fitness Franchise Continues Expansion With New Coastal North Carolina Studio
Orangetheory Fitness, the energizing and fast-growing fitness franchise, is opening a new studio in Wilmington. With 12 studios now open in the state and several in development, the brand will continue to target the North Carolina area for expansion. The Wilmington studio will be located in the Mayfaire Town Center near Dick's Sporting Goods.
A pre-sales location is open now in Mayfaire Town Center next to Five Guys Burgers. Individuals can learn about the Orangetheory Fitness concept and lock in memberships at limited-time discounted rates. Reduced rates are fixed for founding members only and are not subject to future increases while the membership remains active.
“What makes us unique from other workouts is that you can actually see your heart rate on TV screens during class throughout the studio. With our heart rate monitor technology, you can now take home a full report showing exactly how you did after every single class. No more guessing! Probably the best part about our workouts is that they provide huge results for any person, regardless of fitness level, body type or age,” said Kristie Shifflette, Wilmington franchise co-owner and owner of three Orangetheory Fitness studios in the Triangle market.
At each Orangetheory Fitness class, participants wear heart rate monitors as they go through short bursts of exercise designed to maximize the Orange Effect, which is achieved when a person’s heart rate reaches 85 percent of their maximum heart rate for 12 to 20 minutes. The result is extra caloric burn for up to 36 hours after the workout, up to 1,000 calories for each 60-minute class completed. It is one of the many reasons it’s been hailed by CNN, Forbes, SELF Magazine, Men’s Journal and Health Magazine as one of the most highly effective workouts in the nation. Even the American College of Sports Medicine states, "no one does high-intensity interval training like Orangetheory Fitness."
“We are passionate about health and wellness and are excited to bring Orangetheory Fitness to the Wilmington area,” said Dustin Gross, local franchise co-owner. “We can’t wait for Wilmington residents to become part of the Orangetheory family and start seeing results from this unique and high-energy workout. We have some of the best personal trainers in the area, the best equipment and the best process for reaching your fitness goals. And, it's also addictive and fun.”
Orangetheory Fitness memberships do not require a long-term commitment and can currently be purchased at reduced rates for a limited time for new members only at the Wilmington studio. To learn more, community members can stop by the pre-sales location at 6801 Parker Farm Drive, suite 115 in Mayfaire Town Center right near Dick’s Sporting Goods.
