Orangetheory Fitness To Open First Triad Studio


One of the nation’s most dynamic group workout concepts brings heart-rate monitoring fitness to Greensboro

Orangetheory Fitness is the one-of-a-kind group interval fitness concept that’s shaping up the nation. The unparalleled training program is breaking into the Triad for the first time with the area’s first location opening in Greensboro July 2016. The studio will be located in The Westover Gallery of Shops retail shopping center, where a pre-sale location is open now to familiarize people with the Orangetheory Fitness concept and, most importantly, allow interested individuals to secure memberships at reduced founders’ rates available only before the studio opens. As founding members, rates are fixed and are not subject to future increases while the membership remains active.

The Greensboro Orangetheory Fitness studio is the first of five planned to open in the Triad over the coming years. The popular fitness class concept already has locations throughout North Carolina, including several in Charlotte and the Raleigh area, and one coming soon to Wilmington.

During each hour-long class, Orangetheory Fitness participants go through interval training and short bursts of exercise designed to maximize the Orange Effect (achieved when one’s heart rate reaches 85 percent of their maximum for over 12 minutes), which adds extra caloric burn for up to 36 hours after the workout. Participants can burn up to 1,000 calories per 60-minute class – one of the many reasons Orangetheory Fitness has been hailed on The Today Show, in The Wall Street Journal, and by Olympic athletes like Lolo Jones as a highly effective workout.

Orangetheory Fitness memberships do not require a long-term commitment and can currently be purchased at reduced rates for a limited time for new members only at the Greensboro studio.
