American Support Closes on $6M - cbl

CHAPEL HILL -- AMS Holdings LLC has closed a $6 million mixed-securities offering with a single investor.
The Chapel Hill, N.C.-based company holds American Support LLC, formerly Element Customer Care LLC, and just two weeks ago completed the acquisition of Evergreen Sales & Marketing, a Daytona Beach, Fla.-based provider of telesales services to major cable operators.
Principals named in an SEC filing by the Chapel Hill-based holding company are managing partners Thomas Waite and , who is also CEO of American Support.
Evergreen will operate as a division of American Support, which supports more than 400 cable systems in 29 states, and provides billing, technical and customer support services to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cable operators through a virtual call center operation.
Zemon -- who has expertise in CSG Systems, cable billing, call center services, technical support, cable industry best practices, dispatch, collections and marketing -- previously was president at Bulk TV & Internet, and president and COO at the Brand Foundry and the Original Canopy Tour.
