Manufacturer of Mobile Towers Relocates to Lexington
LEXINGTON, N.C. --(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TowerWorx, LLC, has moved its non-manufacturing operations from Pryor, OK to Lexington, NC. TowerWorx now shares a recently constructed 40,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility with TelWorx Communications, LLC.
TowerWorx manufactures moveable towers for a variety of uses, including telecommunications networks, site lighting, public safety, and military operations.
The move brings design, engineering, marketing, and accounting operations closer to CEO Brenda Scronce, who resides in Winston-Salem, NC.
"The decision to move the headquarters to North Carolina made a lot of sense," said Scronce. "Our state offers a very favorable business climate and a capable talent pool. I'm very happy with the management team we've built."
Scronce adds, "Sharing space with TelWorx allows us to leverage their extensive expertise in telecommunications equipment." Domestic manufacturing will continue to operate in Oklahoma. "The team [in Oklahoma] has been with us for a long time and does great work. Having centrally located manufacturing allows us to quickly deploy our towers anywhere in North America."
TowerWorx maintains overseas manufacturing facilities in Egypt and India for quick deployment throughout the world.
